Our Head Chef Jenny Jones
To serve great British food you need a great British chef and ever since Jenny Jones joined our kitchen team in 2014, she’s been cooking up a storm.
Jenny has already proved her culinary talent previously earning the title of Pub Chef of the Year and was awarded two AA Rosettes during her time at The Museum Inn, Farnham before coming to The King’s Head. A champion of fresh local ingredients, Jenny lovingly sources Dorset snails for our menus and has even hand reared her own rare breed pigs. Now she’s set up camp in our kitchen, Jenny’s enjoying discovering new and wonderful Hampshire ingredients to use and let shine through in her food.
Whether aged Hampshire sirloin on the bone, lamb rump with woodland mushrooms or goat’s curd salad with beetroot carpaccio, expect to dine on field-to-fork British classics with a few luxurious twists.
